What You’ll Do

  • Extract Meaning from Data: Work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover deep insights from large-scale datasets and translate them into strategic opportunities.
  • Develop Predictive Models: Build, test, and optimize machine learning models to support user engagement, personalization, monetization, and product growth.
  • Research & Experiment: Lead and design A/B tests and other experimental frameworks to validate product hypotheses and measure impact.
  • Own Data Science Projects: Drive end-to-end data science initiatives from data wrangling and feature engineering to deployment and impact analysis.
  • Build Internal Tools: Design and implement custom algorithms, pipelines, and dashboards that empower teams with real-time, data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Act as a strategic partner to product, marketing, and engineering teams, helping them leverage data science to drive outcomes.
  • Present Insights: Communicate findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advance Data Culture: Champion the use of data science methodologies and mentor others in adopting best practices across the company.

What We Look For

  • Proven Data Science Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working on machine learning, statistical modeling, or data science problems in a product environment.
  • Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and experience with data science libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
  • Advanced SQL Knowledge: Ability to write optimized queries and extract actionable insights from relational databases such as BigQuery.
  • Modeling & Evaluation: Solid understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, with the ability to select the right models and evaluate performance.
  • Experimentation & Causality: Experience with A/B testing and causal inference techniques is a big plus.
  • Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Python-based visualizations (Plotly, Seaborn) to present complex data clearly.
  • Mobile Analytics Tools: Familiarity with tools like Appsflyer or Adjust is a plus.
  • Problem Solver: Strong analytical mindset, capable of breaking down complex challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Able to work across teams and explain models and insights in a clear and engaging way.
  • Growth-Oriented: Eager to learn, innovate, and stay up to date with the latest developments in data science.
